What to know about this form

VP-242 is used when the registered owner is a direct participant in the trust and their name appears on the County Assessor’s exemption certificate/voucher (for example, qualifying veterans, surviving spouses, or blind individuals). The exemption is applied to the vehicle that’s titled/registered to the trust in which the claimant has an ownership interest.
