Can the VP-024 form be notarized outside of Nevada, or must notarization occur in Nevada?

Yes. Nevada accepts properly completed out-of-state notarizations, so an heir may have VP-024 notarized in another state and then submit it to the Nevada DMV. The form must be executed before a Notary Public or an Authorized DMV Representative; it is not limited to Nevada.
