When the document is issued, Lake Mead Mobile Notary checks the received material against the confirmed request, including the parties, case number, document title, and requested certification type.
5. Return or additional processing
The document is returned through the method included in the confirmed order. Apostille processing, exemplification, translation, international shipping, or another document-service stage may follow when separately requested and accepted.
Before You Start
Confirm That the Divorce Was Filed in Clark County
This service is limited to divorce decrees maintained by the Eighth Judicial District Court in Clark County, Nevada.
A different retrieval process is required when the divorce was entered by:
- Another Nevada county
- A justice or municipal court
- Another state
- A federal court
- A tribal court
- A court outside the United States
The customer should not assume that a Las Vegas wedding means a later divorce was also filed in Clark County.
Confirm Which Copy Type Is Required

Older, Sealed, or Restricted Records
The Clerk of the Court states that it maintains district court records from 1909 to the present. Most records from 1990 forward may be searched through current online resources, while older record searches may require an in-person or mailed request.
